Slinger got 4 wickets in 4 balls against mighty South Africans in WC
This is one of the biggest moment of cricket this year. Chasing 210 the South Africans were comfortably placed at 206 for 5 when Malinga came to bowl his 8th over of the match. With his fifth bowl of the over he got the wicket of Shaun Pollock and what deceived Pollock was a slow ball on the stumps. In came Andrew Hall he pulled out a speedy yorker only give the ball to Tharanga as a catch. Score now read 206 for 7.
The next over saw only one run and then Malinga was called on to bowl his 9th over. He got Kallis out of the first bowl bowled. Malinga had taken a hat-trick. Kallis went for a square drive and nicked it to Sangakkara. Next to the crease was Ntini and he too was out first bowl and would u believe it Malinga had got four in four! The score now read 207 for 9. The next batsman missed a delivery which was not far away from the off stump. The end saw South Africa win the match but the heroics of this dangerous bowler will always remain alive.

Breathtaking Strokeplay by Gibbs

It was in the 2007 World Cup that the record for hitting 6 sixes in an over in an international match was finally made and who did it was Herschelle Gibbs the most devastating batsman in the current South African team. When on song Gibbs is better than most batsman in the world and thats what he showed in this innings too. The record came against the minnows Netherlands when Dan van Bunge came out to bowl his fourth over. Was is great batting or simply poor leg break bowling? This was what the critics were busy talking about but the fact remains that it was Gibbs who now holds the record for hitting 6 sixes in 6 deliveries. Amazing!
